I think we’d all agree that small steps are important. But they are often hard to spot. Millions of people know when someone wins a Nobel prize, but who recognizes—and honors—the tiny markers that can lead a person in that direction, decades before the world sees the big award?
I want to be one of those people. I want to be someone who can celebrate true progress, no matter how small it is, in other people and in myself. I think that’s a part of learning to see as God does, and I hope you’ll join me. Here’s a prayer:
Dear Lord, please help us to acknowledge and magnify the seemingly little ways that you help us grow. And we thank you.
